I have 16 years experience working in this field. I've worked in many different spas, clinics, private homes and fitness facilities throughout Maryland, Washington D.C. and Northern VA. My massage style is a very relaxing Swedish style with long, effleurage strokes designed to calm the nervous system yet it also includes deeper pressure in areas with built up tension so you get the best of both worlds. You are able to fully relax and unwind while also getting the tension released from your stiff muscles. My specialty is releasing the muscles of the back, neck and shoulders. I like to work around the neck to help to restore it’s full range of motion as well as releasing tension in the occipital muscles (the base of the skull) that can cause tension headaches and mental fogginess.
